Another Defeat For The Dark Side

I usually wait for Guantánamo- and torture-related news to pile up before doing a round-up, but this is to hot to hold off on:

After holding the first hearings under that landmark Supreme Court ruling in June that gave prisoners at the special prison the right to challenge their confinement, a federal judge has ordered the release of five of six Algerians after nearly seven years of captivity without so much as a hearing, let alone a trial.
