Obama Takes The Right Course On Iran

Once again Barack Obama proves his conservative critics correct about being a coward when it comes to foreign policy.

He cancels an utterly useless and wildly expensive missile shield program in Eastern Europe and is rewarded by greater Russian cooperation on Iran.

He speaks to the U.N. General Assembly and threatens to get tough with Iran if it doesn't fess up about its nuclear ambitions.

He then calls a press conference with French President Sarkozy (recall that France
opposed Bush administration efforts to take down Tehran) and British Prime Minister Brown at which he reveals the existence of yet another secret nuclear fuel-manufacturing plant.

He gives the Tehran regime two months to comply with international demands or face increased sanctions that Russia (once Iran's reliable patron) says it will back.

Not a peep about bomb, bomb bombing Iran. What a wuss!
